The defect: Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2025 TL-Series, LT-Series, LTM40, HR40, HR46, and SCM55 areal device vehicles. The control valve may have been assembled with an incorrect plug, causing the hydraulic equipment to overheat.
The risk: Touching parts of the overheated hydraulic equipment can increase the risk of burn injuries.
The remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair the control valve as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 23, 2026. Owners may contact Terex's customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN735.

Manufacturer communication
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
