Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
STEERING
On some Semi, the steering gear to reservoir return hose clamp may have loosened over time which may cause steering fluid leakage from the reservoir. Inspect the vehicle for symptoms related to the condition. If symptoms are present, replace the steering gear to reservoir return hose clamp with an updated part.
VISIBILITY/WIPER
Some Semi trucks are equipped with a windshield washer nozzle that may not meet Tesla specifications. While adequate in suppling washer fluid to the windshield, affected washer nozzles may restrict washer fluid output and increase the amount of wiper cycles needed to remove debris and contaminates.
STRUCTURE:BODY
On certain Semi, when the LH cabin door is repeatedly closed with a high amount of force, the fire extinguisher bracket might loosen over time.
POWER TRAIN
On certain Semi, the Torque Drive Axle (TDA) and Efficiency Drive Axle (EDA) maincase input bearings may not be properly lubricated due to insufficient gearbox fluid circulation which may cause bearing failure and driveline lockup.

Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
