What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2022 Thor Motor Coach Delano, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

From owner reports, verbatim
The emergency brake system is connected to the leveling stabilizers and the slide out system with this coach. The brake must be manually engaged for those systems to be used. To deploy the levelers and slides and to retract both . The brake handle will not function sometimes . It will not be recognized by those systems . The brake will also not clear itself from those systems and will stay on when not needed. The same issue was brought to the attention of a repair facility of a General RV dealership in Ashland Virginia. It was from another owner of a 2022 Thor unit similar to my vehicle. The problem could not be duplicated by the service team and the owner did not receive a repair to my knowledge. I am concerned that this is a issue that should be addressed. I also have several sections of wiring inside the coach and under the coach that are not protected in looms that is standard in vehicle assembly. I also have found nuts and bolts that are not tight at all. Those are connected to a metal bar under two coach seats that have safety belts to use while the coach is moving. The safety belt system is connected to that steel bar. What guidelines are in place that protects the owners from poor assembly practices of Recreational Vehicles ? And how do I report those violations to the agency that enforces those safety codes ? There are several areas if concern with the assembly with this coach. Where does the responsibility lay ? When two manufacturers are involved. Mercedes Benz and Thor Motors . I do have pictures and a repair invoice to substantiate my claim. And will be glad to send those to you by email. Thank you , hope to hear from you very soon.
