The driver's side window became partially detached while driving on the highway at 60 mph. It threatened to completely detach and fall to the roadway. I was forced to pull over onto the shoulder of I-75 northbound in Florida and tape the window onto the body of the vehicle using Monster tape. The problem was confirmed and repaired at Suncoast Designers, 15050 Labor Place, Hudson FL. However, it occurred 2 more times and has (hopefully) been permanently re-attached this last time by using a different adhesive. This style window is referred to as "frameless". I have reason to suspect that there is a substantial low pressure or suction effect at that corner of the vehicle at highway speeds. There was no warning of any kind prior to the sudden partial detachment of the window. I am reporting this event in case it has occurred to others and needs to be discontinued or modified on future similar vehicles at risk.
