Dear NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline, I am reporting possible safety defects involving my 2026 Tiffin Allegro Bay 38AB motorhome. We purchased it new from Blue Compass RV in [XXX], on XXX I have observed the following issues: 1. On the drive home immediately after delivery, hydraulic fluid leaked from somewhere near the front driver’s side and spread over the driver’s side of the RV. The source of the leak has not been confirmed. 2. The motorhome has an alignment problem that needs assessment. 3. The passenger-side slide does not retract properly. The slide seals on both sides are ripping and do not extend properly. 4. The driver-side slide cover is loose. 5. Drawers open while the motorhome is being driven, including when we are not turning. Bedroom drawers also come off their slides. 6. The bedroom TV bracket broke off, leaving sharp magnetic hardware exposed. I am concerned about the safety of driving and occupying the motorhome with these conditions. Please record the issues that fall within NHTSA’s vehicle safety complaint process and let me know if you need separate reports for any of them. I can provide photographs, communications, and repair records if requested. Please confirm receipt and provide a complaint reference number.
