Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

Discovered diesel fuel leaking in area of Onan generator. Attempted to find fuel shutoff, but none existed, so I kinked fuel line and used zip tie to stop Diesel from leaking. Next, I removed air filter housing, in order to find cause of leak, and found fuel leaking from return fuel line at y connection. The fuel line leaking, was leaking at a connection of where the hose connected to a y junction, and the barb, at the junction was too large for the rubber hose, causing the hose to split because causing a fuel leak. Dealership was contacted, in order to determine location of shutoff valve, but was told that the information on the unit couldn’t be given because of liability reasons. Dealership refuses to correct problem, so the following will be done myself. 1. No shutoff valve, was found, so one will be added inline for safety. 2. Re-design of clamp, connection, and stronger fuel hose will be added for durability.
