Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
Daimler Truck sent letter to Tiffin Motorhomes to send to customers. Problem stated is that certain FCCC XC chassis equipped with Mobileye Lane Tracking and alert system; the vehicle's lane tracking system fails to alert the driver of unintended lane departures if the turn signal or hazard lamps are not activated upon startup. Solution: Parameter will be updated to enable the lane tracking system. Customer is told to contact an authorized DTNA dealer to arrange to have the campaign performed.
TriMark brought to Tiffin’s attention that on certain 2025 and 2026 Allegro Breeze; 2025 and 2026 Allegro Bus; 2025 and 2026 Allegro RED 360; 2025 and 2026 Byway; 2025 and 2026 Phaeton; 2025 and 2026 Zephyr Motorhomes that are equipped with PTL entry doors with a TriMark entry lock, owners may experience a lock out situation. TriMark has notified Tiffin Motorhomes that there is a possible condition where the exterior entrance door handle mechanism can bypass the inside linkage causing a lock-out situation whereby the door cannot be opened from the exterior handle. TriMark is replacing all involved entry door inside handle assemblies with new inside handle assembles. PTL Engineering states these locks are installed in entry doors with a serial number #068849 through #072552.
FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM
Tiffin sent out an addendum to be added to Owner's Manuals that states, "Tiffin Motorhomes recommends that all diesel units be refueled using standard automotive-grade diesel fuel pumps, rather than high-flow commercial truck stop pumps. The fuel delivery rate from commercial truck stop pumps is often too aggressive for motorhome fuel systems, which are not designed to handle rapid fuel intake. Using high-flow commercial truck stop pumps can result in overflow, spillage, premature shutoff, or even damage to the fuel fill components."
EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Stopped using the lights we had been using due to expense. Replaced with these, but these new lights have to be wired in instead of just clicking in. These are the instructions to wire in.
Tiffin sent out letter asking customer to please review the enclosed information for the proper operation of the Starlink System in their Tiffin Motorhome. And after reviewing the information, to add it to their Owner's Manual for future reference.
It has come to our attention that on certain Tiffin motorhomes equipped with optional Go Power! solar panel solar panels systems, the 30A inline fuse located before the cable entry plate should be removed. The plastic housing surrounding the fuse may become heat damaged from heat generated by the normal operation of the 30A fuse, which would cause the solar panel system to not operate as designed. Due to updated recommendations from Go Power!, Tiffin Motorhomes is removing this 30A fuse from the solar panel system.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
