FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:MOUNTING

The defect: THE BOLTS SECURING THE MAIN FUEL TANK SUPPORT TO THE CHASSIS MAY BREAK UNDER LOAD ALLOWING THE TANK TO DROP TO THE GROUND.
The remedy: DEALER WILL INSTALL A STEEL STRAP ALONG THE BOTTOM OF THE GASOLINE TANK SUPPORT AND REPLACE THE BOLTS THAT SECURE THE SUPPORT FRAME TO THE CHASSIS, WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.

THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD THAT THE TRAILER FRAME WAS MADE OF A 10 INCH" STEEL BEAM THAT WAS NOT PROPERLY HEAT TREATED. THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THE FRAME MIGHT BREAK AND CAUSE AN ACCIDENT (TRAVEL TRAILER, PLAYMOR 2000. 38 FOOT SPORT). *AK
