MY 2005 TRIUMPH ROCKET III MOTORCYCLE HAS DEVELOPED A PROBLEM WITH HIGH IDLE. THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED CASE. THE SAME PROBLEM IS OCCURRING ACROSS THE COUNTRY. I WILL KEEP MY DESCRIPTION RELATIVE TO ONLY MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. THE PROBLEM CAUSES THE MOTORCYCLE TO CONTINUE TRAVELING AT 50, 60 OR EVEN 70MPH AFTER THE THROTTLE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY CLOSED. I BROUGHT IT TO MY CLOSEST DEALER FOR SERVICE. AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS, THEY SAID THEY HAVE FOUND THERE IS A PROBLEM BUT THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX IT. THE TRIUMPH COMPANY HAS TOLD THE DEALER THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND ARE WORKING ON A SOLUTION. THE DEALER TOLD ME, DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS, THAT I HAD TO COME AND PICK UP THE BIKE AND SINCE THE COMPANY DID NOT FEEL THE BIKE SHOULD NOT BE RIDDEN, I COULD RIDE IT HOME (150 MILES). THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. THERE HAS NOT BEEN AN ACCIDENT RELATED TO THIS YET (THAT I KNOW OF). 1. I THINK THE DEALER SHOULD HAVE KEPT THE BIKE UNTIL IT COULD BE FIXED! 2. I THINK THE TRIUMPH FACTORY MUST ISSUE A SAFETY RECALL AND FIND A SOLUTION! *TR
