TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 UM V2C-650 MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS EXCESSIVE FUEL LEAKAGE ON THE MOTORCYCLE. HE ORIGINALLY THOUGHT IT WAS LUBRICATION; HOWEVER, THE DEALER STATED THAT A NEW FUEL TANK WAS NEEDED. IN ADDITION, THE ENGINE LOCKS WHILE IN NEUTRAL. THE DEALER STATED THAT THIS WAS A NORMAL OCCURRENCE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08V167000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY), ALTHOUGH THE FAILURES WERE IDENTICAL. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT AN AUTO BODY SHOP FOR REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,900 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 5,000.
