2006 Victory Jackpot Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

POLARIS INDUSTRIES REFUSES TO STAND BEHIND ITS PRODUCTS THAT DISPLAY THE EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS OF THEIR FUEL PUMP RECALL CAMPAIGN ""06V279000" THEY CLAIM THEY HAVE MAGICAL WAY OF KNOWING WHAT VIN NUMBERS WERE EFFECTED AND REFUSE TO EVEN CONSIDER THE FACT THEY MAY HAVE EXCLUDED A VIN THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED. THIS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE AND YOU WOULD THINK A COMPANY THAT IS STIFFING IT'S EARLY ADAPTER CUSTOMERS (11 YEARS) BY DROPPING THE LINE ENTIRELY WOULD HAVE THE ETHICAL MORALS NOT TO LET A SIMPLE RETAINER CLIP COST STAND IN THE WAY OF TREATING THEIR CUSTOMERS FAIRLY AND KEEP THEM SAFE WHILE RIDING THE PRODUCT THEY HAVE ABANDONED. I HAVE NO ABILITY TELL HOW MUCH GAS IS IN MY TANK FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS BECAUSE OF VICTORIES LACK OF QUALITY CONTROL ON A BIKE THAT COST OVER 18K NEW. I OFTEN RETURN TO MY BIKE PARKED IN THE SUN TO FIND IT HAS LEAKED GAS FROM THE FUEL PUMP. "THIS IS NOT SAFE POLARIS" FIX YOUR CRAP. I'VE TAKEN IT TO DEALERSHIPS WHO HAVE CONFIRMED THE FUEL PUMP IS THE CAUSE AND ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO CHARGE ME $700 FOR A PART THEY RECALLED AND REDESIGNED FOR ALL MODEL YEARS AFTER 2006 BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKE, YET THEY ARE FIGHTING ME TOOTH AND NAIL OVER THIS OBVIOUS DESIGN AND SAFETY ISSUE. I WILL HIRE A LAWYER IF NEED BE, BUT IT REALLY SHOULDN'T HAVE TO COME TO THIS.
