TL* CONTACT OWNS A 2007 VOLVO VNM670. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASHED AND THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE DEALER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 450,000.

I WAS DRIVING A 2007 VOLVO VNM FOR YRCW TRUCKING CO. I DID ALL THE APPROPRIATE SAFETY CHECKS AND AFTER 140 MILES DRIVING,WHEN I SLOWED TO 5MPH TO PASS THROUGH THE EZPASS LANE AT LAKAWANA NY, THE FIFTH WHEEL RELEASED AND DROPPED THE TRAILERS IN THE ROADWAY. SOMEHOW THE AIR RELEASE WAS ACTIVATED AND OPENED THE FIFTH WHEEL JAWS OF THE FIFTH WHEEL. *TR
