I DRIVE FOR WERNER ENTERPRISES AND I HAVE RAISED THIS SAFETY ISSUE MANY OF TIMES TO ALL LEVELS OF UPPER MANAGEMENT. I AM ON THE ANHEUSER BUSCH DEDICATED ACCOUNT AND WE PULL THESE 53' DRY VAN TRAILERS THAT ARE CERTIFIED BY WABASH TO 68,000 LBS. GROSS WEIGHT. THESE TRAILERS ARE REGISTERED IN NEBRASKA FOR A GROSS WEIGHT OF 34,000 LBS. UNLADEN WEIGHT IS 13,500. OUR NORMAL LOAD WEIGHT VARY BETWEEN 49,000 LBS. AND 52,150 WITH A MAX GROSS WEIGHT OF 80,000 LBS. THE SAFETY ISSUE IS THAT THE WEIGHT WE ARE CARRYING IS CAUSING STRESS FAILURES IN THE STRUCTURE OF THESE TRAILERS AND IT IS A FACT OF NOT IF BUT WHEN ONE OF THESE TRAILERS HAVE A CATASTROPHIC FAILURE WHILE IN TRANSIT. WE HAVE ALREADY HAD AT LEAST ONE TRAILER COLLAPSE UNDER THE LOAD WHILE SETTING AT THE BREWERY. THIS IS AN AGING FLEET OF ABOUT 200 TRAILERS AND I HAVE A GRAVE CONCERN FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR FELLOW MOTORIST THAT WE SHARE THE ROAD WITH. *DT CARFAX CANNOT PROCESS THIS REQUEST. *JB

I WORK FOR WERNER ENTERPRISE AND I HAVE ADDRESSED THIS SAFETY ISSUE WITH OUR SAFETY DEPARTMENT FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS NOW. I ADDRESSED THIS AGAIN ON 04/30/2019 @ 17:30 TO DAVE DAVIS SENIOR DIRECTOR DEDICATED ACCOUNTS. HIS REPLY WAS THAT IF I THINK THESE TRAILER ARE UNSAFE TO PULL THAT HE COULD MOVE ME TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT. THIS FLEET OF TRAILERS ARE BEING USED ON ALL OF WERNER ENTERPRISE DEDICATED ACCOUNTS FOR ANHEUSER BUSCH ACCOOUNTS. THIS FLEET IS AGING AND IT ONLY A MATTER OF WHEN AND NOT IF A CATASTROPHIC ACCIDENT WILL OCCUR ON OUR INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS. THESE TRAILERS ARE SHOWING STRUCTURAL DAMAGE FROM THE EXCESSIVE WEIGHT. THREE HAS BEEN A COUPLE EVENTS @ THE BREWERY IN JACKSONVILLE,FL. WHERE PARKED TRAILERS HAVE JUST COLLASPED AND FOLDED UNDER. *DT

Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
