The defect: ON CERTAIN TOY HAULER RECREATIONAL TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH GREAT PLAINS INDUSTRIES (GPI) FUEL TRANSFER PUMPS, DUE TO INSUFFICIENT EPOXY ADHESIVE APPLIED AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION AT THE FACTORY, A FUEL LEAK CAN OCCUR AT THE PUMP'S INLET VALVE.
The risk: IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, A FIRE CAN OCCUR.
The remedy: GPI HAS REPLACED ALL THE FUEL PUMPS INVOLVED IN THE RECALL. THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO GREAT PLAINS RECALL (PLEASE SEE 06E016).

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 (NA) WEEKEND WARRIOR RV EQUIPPED WITH GOODYEAR MARATHON TIRES, SIZE: 235/80R16 (NA). WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE MIDDLE DRIVER AND FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRES BLEW OUT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ALL THE OTHER TIRES PREVIOUSLY BLEW OUT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE AND TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,000.
