2000 Winnebago Chieftain Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

What this page shows

WE JUST PURCHASED THIS MOTORHOME & BOTH FRONT SEAT BELT MOUNTINGS WERE TAPED UP WITH DUCT TAPE. WE WERE RESEARCHING HOW TO REPLACE THEM & WE CAME ACROSS THE RECALL NOTIFICATIONS ON THE SEAT BELTS FOR OUR MODEL. WE ARE WONDERING HOW TO FIND OUT IF OUR MOTORHOME WAS AFFECTED & IF SO, HAS THE ISSUE BEEN CORRECTED. IS THERE A WAY YOU CAN SEE IF WE NEED TO HAVE SOMETHING DONE OR IF WE CAN JUST ORDER NEW MOUNTINGS? THANK YOU!! *TR
