2015 Winnebago Era Owner Complaints

Reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers, shown in full

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

LAST YEAR 9JUNE2016) I HAD VEHICLE SERVICED FOR PROPANE LP RECALL TWO WEEKS AGO IN A CAMP GROUND, WHEN STATIONARY, AFTER TURNING ON THE PROPANE VALVE THE PROPANE TANK VENTED AND DISCHARGED 10.5 GALLONS OF PROPANE. LUCKILY THE IT DID NOT EXPLODE. TOOK VEHICLE TO SERVICE CENTER COLERAIN RV IN CINTI OH AND THEY SAID IT MUST OF BEEN LOSS FITING AND REFILLED TANK. I HAD TO RETURN IT THE NEXT DAY BECAUSE THERE WAS NO PRPANE GETTING TO ANY OF THE GAS COMPONENTS IN THE VEHICLE. THEY HAD ORDERED A NEW REGULATOR STATING THE ONE ON THE VEHICLE WAS GUMMED UP DUE TO THE OIL IN THE POPANE THAT GIVES THE GAS SMELL. THEY WERE NOT SURE IF THIS CAUSED THE VENTING.
