2016 Winnebago Scorpion Problems

Owner-reported complaints filed with NHTSA, grouped by component

Data refreshed

Owner complaintsComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

LIONSHEAD TIRES TOO UNSAFE FOR PUBLIC SAFETY. AFTER USING THE 5TH WHEEN THREE TIMES (SHORT DISTANCES) OVER THE PAST YEAR, SEVERAL OF THE TIRES HAVE FORMED BUBBLES POSING A SAFETY CONCERN FOR MY FAMILY AND OTHERS ON THE HIGHWAY. AFTER READING UP ON THIS MANUFACTURER, THESE TIRES NEED TO BE RECALLED AND PULLED FROM THE SHELVES! THEY DO NOT HAVE A WARRANTY FOR MILEAGE, WHICH POSES A HUGE SCAM RACKET FOR CUSTOMERS. IT'S APPARENT THEY ARE AWARE OF THEIR SUB-PAR PRODUCT, THEREFORE ISSUING A 12 MONTH WARRANTY EVEN IF YOU DON'T USE YOUR RV OR HAVE ONLY PUT 100 MILES ON THEIR DANGEROUS TIRES. WHEN IS NHTSA GOING TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS? OTHER PERSONS HAVE HAD ACTUAL DAMAGE TO THEIR VEHICLES AND HAVE BEEN INJURED!

Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
