What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2004 Winnebago Vectra, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

WE BOUGHT THIS COACH NEW. IN 2009 WE WERE TRAVELING IN LOUISIANA ON A MAIN HIGHWAY AND THE ENGINE GRILL ON THE BACK APPARENTLY DETACHED AND FLEW OFF. WE DISCOVERED IT HAD BEEN ATTACHED WITH 2 SIDED TAPE (4 PIECES APPROX 2 IN LONG EA.) SINCE THAT TIME WE HAVE ENCOUNTERED 3 OTHER VEHICLES OF THE SAME MODEL THAT HAD SIMILAR ISSUES. THE GRILL IS 4 + FEET WIDE AND ABT 16 IN LONG.
CONCERNS WITH FRONT CENTER PANEL ON 2004 WINNEBAGO VECTRA. *MR WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE, AFTER PURCHASE, A RATTLE WAS NOTICED IN THE FRONT AREA. IT WAS REVEALED THAT THE EPOXY TYPE GLUE USED TO ATTACH THE BRACES TO THE PANEL WAS FAILING AND OR COMING APART. THE PANEL COULD FLY OFF AND CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE. *SC *JB
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
