What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2019 Winnebago Vista, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 WINNEBAGO VISTA BUILT ON A 2018 FORD E-350 CHASSIS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR BUMPER WAS MADE OF SUBPAR MATERIALS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WEIGHT OF A MANUFACTURER APPROVED PART FOR A TIRE MOUNT CAUSED THE BUMPER TO DETACH FROM THE VEHICLE. NEITHER THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER WERE CONTACTED NOR NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT HAD THE BUMPER REPLACED OUT OF POCKET. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5,000.
NOT SO MUCH WHAT HAPPENED BUT WHAT I THINK COULD HAPPEN. AFTER PURCHASE, I CLIMBED UP ON THE ROOF AND SAW A GAP BETWEEN THE ROOF AND WHERE THE FRONT CAP IS ATTACHED TO THE ROOF. THE DRIVER SIDE IS GOOD, THE PASSENGER SIDE HAS A 1/2"+ GAP AND LOOKS LIKE THE FRONT CAP IS TRYING TO SEPARATE ITSELF FROM THE REST OF THE COACH. DOES NOT GIVE ME A SAFE FEELING. WINNEBAGO SAID IT'S FINE, JUST NEEDS MORE CALK. WOULD LOVE FOR YOU GUYS TO TELL ME IT'S OK! I WILL SHOW A PIC OF THE GOOD SIDE (DRIVER) AND THE BAD SIDE (PASSENGER). HOPE IT'S APPARENT WHICH IS WHICH.
Too few reports in this category for a page of its own — they appear in the full complaint list.
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
