TRAVELING ON FREEWAY AT 65 MPH; MOTORBIKE MADE A NOISE SIMILAR TO WHEN ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE IS RELEASED. I LOOKED IN REARVIEW MIRROR AND NOTICED THE REAR SEATBELTS RELEASED FROM LOCKED POSITION [FORTUNATELY JUST MY TENNIS BAG WAS IN THE BACK SEAT AND THEN LANDED ON THE FREEWAY].

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
A problem was discovered in service where multiple vehicles have had an issue recharging if the Battery temperature falls below 0C°. This potentially affects all 2019-2022 D-Deliverators, E-Rapid Responders, R-Roadsters, and T-FUVs. When this occurs there is a fault that requires a hard reset to restore the vehicle. When the fault occurs, loss of regenerative braking. The root cause was confirmed that the Charger Enabled Relay (CER) was latching out when CCL drops below 0A more than 2 times in a minute. This was being caused by battery temperature dropping to 0°C, or state of charge rising to 100%.There will be new firmware updates made available. Customers will need to bring their vehicles in to have the new firmware updated.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STEERING
Arcimoto is investigating certain 2019-2021 D-Deliverators, E-Rapid Responders, R-Roadsters, and T-FUVs with customer complaints of unintended torque vectoring during throttle use (acceleration) and KERS use (regen). To better understand the cause of this condition, Arcimoto would like to inspect, and, if needed, collect specific parts from the vehicle at your earliest convenience and prior to you attempting a repair of any kind.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ENGINE; POWER TRAIN
Arcimoto is investigating certain 2019-2020 FUVs with customer complaints of loss of traction-power and/or reduced speed/acceleration. To better understand the cause of this condition, Arcimoto would like to inspect, and, if needed, collect specific parts from the vehicle at your earliest convenience and prior to you attempting a repair of any kind.
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING; EQUIPMENT
Dual electric motors may experience reduced reliability or life-span, due to allowing fluid ingress without egress. The issue will be addressed with gasketing to prevent fluid ingress, and installation of at least one drain-hole to ensure fluid egress. Based on field reports, the issue of fluid ingress without egress has occurred when the vehicle is stationary and not being operated on a public road/ highway. Therefore, at this time there is no data to suggest a regulatory or safety issue that would require a recall.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY; EQUIPMENT
On-board charger for traction-power battery may experience reduced reliability or life-span. When the charger is being operated, then the vehicle necessarily is stationary and not being operated on a public road/ highway. Therefore, at this time there is no data to suggest a regulatory or safety issue that would require a recall.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
