TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 BLUE BIRD SCHOOL BUS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE THERMOSTAT HEATER HOSE RUPTURED AND CAUSED COOLANT TO LEAK INTO THE CENTER AREA OF THE PASSENGER COMPARTMENT. THE HOT COOLANT SPILLED ONTO TWO OCCUPANTS, WHO SUSTAINED SECOND DEGREE BURNS TO BOTH LEGS. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. THERE WAS A RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V313000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING) FOR 2008-2013 MODEL YEAR VEHICLES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
