The defect: Bombardier Recreational Products, Inc. (BRP) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Can-Am Origin, Can-Am Pulse, 2025-2027 Can-Am Canyon, 2024-2027 Can-Am Spyder RT, and Can-Am Spyder F3 motorcycles equipped with a touchscreen instrument cluster. The instrument cluster may reset, freeze, or go blank. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 123, "Motorcycle Control and Displays," and FMVSS number 122, "Motorcycle Brake Systems."
The risk: An inoperative instrument cluster will fail to display critical safety information, such as vehicle speed and warning lights, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: The instrument cluster software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 12, 2026. Owners may contact BRP customer service at 1-888-272-9222. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will become searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning September 22, 2026. The manufacturers number for this recall is 2027-2 & 2026-3.

The rear cargo module is not aligned with the rear wheel, the rear fender may look uncentered. In some cases, it may come in contact with therear tire.

Under some circonstances it is possible to hear a chirping noise coming from the right side of the engine The noise was identified as worn friction washers on the alternator shaft

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

The MY24 Spyder RT and F3 T/LTD rear fender does not allow the installation of the backup camera kit 219401199 No retrofit possible for F3-S Its possible the cluster was updated to the latest software 710010643 and the unit is not equiped with the backup camera creating a blue screen when reverse gear is engaged (see image in inspection section, camera needs to be turned OFF)
