WINDSHIELD WIPERS CONTINUE TO MALFUNCTION PERODICALLY CAUSING DIFFICULTY SEEING IN RAINY WEATHER.
WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH IN THE RAIN WINDSHIELD WIPERS FAILED. BECAUSE OF POOR VISIBILITY VEHICLE WENT INTO A DITCH. HAD VEHICLE TOWED TO DEALERSHIP, BUT MECHANIC WAS NOT ABLE TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.*AK

ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS THE DEALERSHIP REPAIRED THE BROKEN BACK SEAT. ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2004 WHILE DRIVING AT 60 MPH WITH OUT ANY WARNING THE BACK SEAT BROKE AGAIN FOR THE FOURTH TIME. THE DEALERSHIP INFORMED THE CONSUMER THE SEAT WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY.*JB
CONSUMER STATES THERE HAVE BEEN MANY PROBLEMS WITH THE SEATS, FIRST COMPLAINT WAS MADE WHEN THE SEAT WAS SQUEAKING ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT WHILE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION, DEALER LUBED THE SEAT MECHANISM, HOWEVER THIS DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM, DEALER LATER PERFORMED CAMPAIGN 94-C-62, REPLACING THE SEAT RECLINER BOLTS, WHILE PERFORMING RECALL, DEALER FOUND ONE OF THE SEAT BACK BOLTS BROKEN WHICH CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE RECLINER AND FRAME, DEALER REPLACED THE RECLINER AND FRAME, THE PASSENGER SEAT WAS TOO FAR BACK AND THE DEALER COULD NOT ADJUST THE SEAT BACK, WHILE DRIVING THE DRIVERS SEAT RECLINER BOLT BROKE, THE DRIVER LANDED IN THE BACK SEAT, ALMOST CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL, LUCKILY THE PASSENGER GRABBED THE STEERING WHEEL AND KEPT CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, AFTER REPAIRS WERE MADE AGAIN THE DRIVER SIDE SEAT RECLINER FRAME BROKE, CAUSING DEALER TO HAVE TO REPLACE THE FRAME. *SLC

WHILE DRIVING ON DIRT ROAD, TRAVELLING 30MPH GOT STUCK IN THE MUD. TURNED 4-WHEEL DRIVE ON, BUT WOULD NOT ENGAGE. CONTACTED THE DEALER. HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED, AND THEY REPLACED THE ACTUATOR. ALSO, WHILE DRIVING ON A DIRT ROAD WITH LOOSE GRAVEL TURNED 4-WHEEL ON, AND WOULDN'T ENGAGE, REPLACED THE ACTUATOR. GOT CAUGHT IN A SNOW STORM. STOPPED AT A STORE TO GET SUPPLIES. WHILE DRIVING 30MPH ACCELERATOR LINKAGE WOULD LOCK. WOULD HAVE NO CONTROL OVER PEDAL AND SPEED WOULD INCREASE. WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED VEHICLE WOULD GO INTO A SPIN. AFTER HEARING SEVERAL CLICKS, ACCELERATOR WOULD THEN RELEASE, AND WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM. CRUISE CONTROL WAS NOT APPLIED WHEN THIS HAPPENED.
