The contact stated that the height adjustment bar had fractured and failed to securely maintain the intended position. The failure had occurred inside the vehicle. The manufacturer was not contacted. The car seat was not replaced.
The passenger seat belt won’t click in sometimes or it will click in and get unclicked on it own. After multiple tries it clicks in most times

The contact stated that the pre-tensioner cable for the driver’s side seat belt snapped, and the contact was no longer able to drive the vehicle due to the seat belt failure. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed, and the contact was advised that the pre-tensioner cable was faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 230,000.

DRIVER SIDE SEAT BUCKLE DOESN'T LATCH AT ALL TIMES. ALSO ALL INTERIOR OVERHEAD LIGHTS 'DISCO LIGHTS' FLICKER WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL IS PRESSED OR THE TURN SIGNAL IS USED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY AND WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE SEAT BELT SEVERELY CUT INTO THE CONTACT'S BODY. THE SEAT BELT BECAME SIGNIFICANTLY WORN TO THE POINT OF A POTENTIAL FRACTURE WITH THE SEAT BELT WEBBING. FURTHERMORE, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRIMMING ON THE FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDES BECAME DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE'S EXTERIOR. THE TRIMMING CREATED A WHISTLING NOISE AND BLEW IN THE WIND WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS. THE CONTACT ROLLED DOWN THE DRIVER'S WINDOW AND HAD TO HOLD THE EXTERIOR TRIMMING TO THE BODY OF THE VEHICLE TO KEEP IT FROM DETACHING FROM THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY AND STRIKING OTHER MOTORISTS. JUPITER CHEVROLET (11611 I-635, GARLAND, TEXAS 75041, (972) 271-9900) WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND TOOK THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THERE WAS NO RECALL ON THE SEAT BELT OR THE DRIVER'S AND PASSENGER'S SIDE TRIMMING FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED THE CONTACT WITH CASE NUMBER: 8-484-580-7149. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.

THE MIDDLE SEAT BELT IN THE MIDDLE ROW OF MY 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE GETS CAUGHT UNDER THE PLASTIC PIECE ATTACHED TO THE BACK OF THE BENCH THAT THE SEAT BELT FEEDS THROUGH. THE SEAT BELT WHEN STRETCHED OUT SLIDES BETWEEN THE SLIT IN THE PLASTIC. IT GETS STUCK UNDER THE PLASTIC AND BECOMES LOOSE AND LIMP RENDERING THE SEAT BELT USELESS.!..UPDATED 08/13/15 *BF
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE. WHEN THE FRONT DRIVER SEAT WAS ADJUSTED AT ITS HIGHEST POINT, THE SEAT BELT ANCHOR PRESSED DOWN ON THE CONTACT'S LEG AND CAUSED BRUISING. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE SEAT WOULD NEED TO BE LOWERED IN ORDER FOR THE SEAT BELT TO WORK PROPERLY. THE SEAT BELT WAS NOT DESIGNED TO WORK WHEN THE SEAT WAS RAISED THAT HIGH. THE CONTACT FELT THE SEAT BELT SHOULD STILL WORK WHEN THE SEAT IS AT ITS HIGHEST POSITION. THE SEAT BELT ANCHOR WAS CONNECTED TO THE SEAT AND NOT THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE CONTACT FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NO EXTENSION MADE FOR THE SEAT BELT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

THE DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE MANUFACTURER. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE OWNER'S MANUAL WHICH STATED "TO DISCONNECT THE REAR SAFETY BELT MINI LATCH, USING A KEY IN THE SLOT ON THE MINI BUCKLE AND LET BELT RETRACT TO THE HEADLINER. STOW THE MINI LATCH IN THE HOLDER IN THE HEAD LINER." IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY, THE OCCUPANT OF THIS SEAT COULD BECOME ENTRAPPED IN THE SEAT IF THEY DID NOT HAVE AN OBJECT TO UNLATCH THE BUCKLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED BUT THE ENTIRE FRONT PANEL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9200.
