The defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Coachmen Galleria, 2021-2023 Forest River Beyond, and 2021-2023 Coachmen Nova Class B motorhomes. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit.
The risk: An awning extending unintentionally during transit may become a distraction or road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will install a wedge to support the internal components in the gearbox and replace the motor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 9, 2024. The defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, Forester, Sunseeker, and 2021-2024 Nova motorhomes, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i, and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.
The risk: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy: Cummins Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2023. Owners may contact Cummins at: (800) CUMMINS OR (800) 286-6467. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600, or Coachmen Class B customer service at 1-574-825-8602. The defect: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Coachmen Beyond, Galleria, and Nova recreational vehicles, equipped with certain Multiplex Electronic Control Modules (ECM). The ECM software may cause the awning to unintentionally extend or retract when the vehicle is parked.
The risk: An awning that unintentionally extends or retracts increases the risk of injury.
The remedy: Dealers will update the Electronic Control Module (ECM), free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 24, 2022. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-4995; Firefly customer service at 1-574-825-4600; or Coachmen customer service at 1-574-825-6319 or 574-825-6225. 205/75R16C front left tire blew out. Complete tire tread separating. Traveling 60 mph. No warning. Tread depth was 8/32 at the time. Caused vehicle to lose control. Seems to be a reoccurrence with Hankook on the vehicles

According to Ford Recall 25V315/25S49: "The infotainment screen may freeze followed by a black screen and a system reboot. If this occurs during a backing event, the rear-view image may be frozen, missing, or delayed. A frozen rear-view camera display image while in reverse can reduce the driver’s view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash."

According to Ford recall 25V442 / 25S72: "On your vehicle, it may be possible an error in the SYNC software can cause SYNC system instability concerns and/or a failure to preserve certain settings across ignition cycles. This may result in an intermittent blank image while in reverse or rear-view image remaining on display after reverse driving has ended. Other non-safety related symptoms may be present such as a black infotainment screen, incorrect language setting, and/or potential inability to perform software updates. A rear-view camera that intermittently displays a blank image while in reverse can reduce the driver’s view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. A rear-view camera that remains on after the backing event has ended can distract the driver, increasing the risk of a crash."

According to Ford Recall 23S48 / 23V598: "You may intermittently experience a rear camera blue or black image on the SYNC screen when the vehicle is placed in reverse or when the 360-degree view is selected and available (during low-speed operation). Once displayed, the rear camera blue or black image may persist for the remainder of the ignition ON cycle. Once present, the issue is likely to reoccur on subsequent key cycles. See attachment for further information. The loss of the rear camera image, while in reverse, increases the risk of a crash. Ford Motor Company is working closely with its suppliers to produce parts for this repair. When parts become available, Ford Motor Company will notify you via mail to schedule a service appointment with your dealer for repairs to be completed free of charge (parts and labor). Parts are anticipated to be available in the second quarter of 2024."

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:REFRIGERATOR

According to a Furrion TSB "TB-220919": Irregular cooling performance has been reported on the identified refrigerators. The refrigerator compressor has been found to stop working and requires a “hard reset” by disconnecting power to reset cooling operation. On occasion, disconnecting power does not reset operation and the refrigerator requires service replacement of the control boards. This TSB may not be applicable for some vehicles.
