The contact owns a 2019 Forest River Freedom Express RV. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH, the contact noticed that the RV was leaning abnormally. The contact pulled over into a park lot, inspected the vehicle but could not determined the cause of the issue. Upon arriving to the residence and inspecting underneath the RV, the contact noticed that both left springs were hanging on the front driver-side and passenger-side of the RV, and the whole rear axle had detached from trailer. The RV was taken independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the frame had failed and needed to be replaced. The RV was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but denied assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.

Stove came equipped in my 2019 Coachmen Freedom Express 204RD and is in many other RVs. Staged a pot of coffee on the Furrion RV stove and the pot tipped over. Have had this occur multiple times. No injuries but there are multiple blogs on the internet of people experiencing the same issue with this unsafe RV stove top grate design. Smaller pans, coffee pots, etc. can tip over which could lead to a serious injury, legal liability and fires. Contacted the manufacturer of the stove (Lippert/Furrion) reporting the hazard with no reply back in June of 2025. Contacted CPSC in 2025 and filed a report with them. CPSC stated it is a vehicle related concern and should be filed with NHTSA. I believe the manufacture is still selling stoves with this unsafe design today as I have seen pictures of new brand new RVs with the same grate design. I do not want to see a pet, child or any other person injured due to this significant stove flaw. Thank you.

Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT
Provide an update that would prevent possible message corruption that could take place on the RVC network.
STRUCTURE
As Per Lippert Components; Specific 8800 Series windows installed in your recreational vehicle may potentially leak. The windows will be remedied by a Forest River Dealer.
EQUIPMENT; EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER
Per the service bulletin from Dometic ?The nuisance issue enunciates by either blowing the protective fuse, opening the circuit breaker in the furnace circuit, or rendering the furnace inoperative. Our testing has shown that in ALL instances the furnace fails in a safe manner.?
EQUIPMENT; EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER
Per the service bulletin from Dometic ?Dometic Corporation has identified a visual cosmetic defect that has occurred on our Dometic DM2652 refrigerators up in the freezer compartment. This does NOT occur on all units, but may be present on units with serial numbers starting with MB between 805xxxxx and 820XXXXX. The visual cosmetic defect in no way affects the performance, operation, safety, or function of the refrigerator and does not represent a non-compliance issue to one or more of the FMVSS standards or result in a risk of personal injury, death, vehicle crash, or property damage.?
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
