REPLACED ALL SENSORS, SPARK PLUG AND WIRES, ROTOR AND CAP, VACUUM HOSES, POWERTRAIN RELAYS, AND ALL PARTS ASSOCIATED WITH AUTOMATIC POWERTRAIN SHUTDOWN REVEALING NO ENGINE CODES. RANDOM STALLS AT ANY SPEED INCLUDING FREEWAY. DEALER PROVIDES NO SOLUTION BECAUSE OF RANDOM EVENTS ONLY. IT IS MY SUSPICION THAT THE AIRBAGS DON'T WORK WHEN THE POWERTRAIN CURRENT IS SHUT OFF AUTOMATICALLY?
SLIGHT NOISE FROM FRONT END, THEN SILENCE, THEN DRIVERS SIDE WHEEL HUB ASSEMBLY BUCKLED FORCING US TO CROSS 3 LANES OF TRAFFIC, LUCKILY, HITTING NO-ONE. THE RIM WAS SHEERED INTO STRIPS OF RIBBON WHEN IT COLLAPSED INTO THE CALIPER. NEEDS A NEW WHEEL, NEW BRAKE, CALIPER, DISC BRAKE ROTOR, FRONT LEFT WHEEL HUB, FRONT LEFT STEERING KNUCKLE, UPPER CONTROL ARM, LOWER CONTROL ARM. FRONT UPPER & LOWER BALL JOINTS, PLUS FRONT END ALIGNMENT TOTALING $2792.90 AND WE HAD JUST PURCHASED THE VEHICLE IN JAN. OF 2008. WE HAVE FRIENDS THAT HAVE THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL DODGE AS WE DO AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO THEM. WE ARE LUCKY TO BE ALIVE. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THIS. SINCERELY, SUSAN SHUMWAY *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 DODGE QUAD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD IS CRACKING AND PIECES OF PLASTIC ARE FALLING INTO THE COMPARTMENTS AND SHORTENING OUT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES. THIS IS THE SECOND VEHICLE HE HAS OWNED IN WHICH THE DASHBOARD HAS CRACKED. THE FIRST VEHICLE COST $1,000 TO REPAIR. THE DODGE DEALER IS AWARE OF THE FAILURE ON THEIR VEHICLES, BUT WILL NOT REPAIR HIS VEHICLE FOR FREE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 50,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
THE RIGHT REAR TIRE TREAD OF THE BF GOODRICH RADIAL LONG TRAIL TIRE SEPARATED AND RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT, 2001 DODGE QUAD CAB PICKUP. *NM THE SEPARATION RESULTED IN $2000 WORTH OF DAMAGE TO THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE.
RECALL CAMPAIGN: THE BALL JOINTS ON THE CONSUMER'S 2001 DODGE DAKOTA WERE RECALLED. THE CONSUMER WAS UNABLE TO HAVE THE PARTS REPLACED BECAUSE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT PURCHASED AT A DODGE DEALER. *NM *NM
THE CONSUMER'S SON WAS DRIVING HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE HEAD ON. UPON IMPACT, THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. *AK *SC *JB

WHEN I GOT THE TRUCK FROM NEW THE ENGINE PINGED WHEN I WENT UP HILL THE BARRINGS RAPPED BAD WENT TO DEALER THY SAID DODGE HAS NO UP DATES HAD IT BACK THREE TIMES BEFOR 11000 MILES TRUCK FALLS UNDER LEMON LAW AND DEALER WONT FIX TRUCK .AND AC GUIT WHILE UNDER WARRINTY DEALER SAID IF OUT OF WARRINTY THEYED STILL FIX IT ,WHEN IT GUIT IT WAS OUT OF WARRINTY SO DEALER SAID I HAD TO PAY 128.00 DOLLARS TO PUT ON A MACHINE TO SEE WHATS WRONG I SHOULD NOT PAY TO DO THIS THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD STILL BE FIXED BECAUSE IT HAPPENED WHILE UNDER WARRINTY .AND ELECTRIC WINDOWS QUIT ,AND WHEN I GOT THE TRUCK NEW THE WINDSHEILD WIPERS QUIT AND THE BACKUP LIGHTS QUIT BUT THY FIXED THE WIPERS AND BACKUP LIGHTS.ENGINE WENT BARRINGS RAP AND I DONT HAVE OIL PRESSURE . HAD PROBLEMS WITH OIL PRESSURE BEFOR WHILE UNDER WARRINTY REPLACED SENCER OIL PRESSURE ALWAYS WENT FROM 3\4 TO1\4 THY SAID IT WILL RUN LIKE THAT.
