The contact owns a 2016 DRV Mobile Suite. The contact stated that after reading an article on Facebook, he discovered that owners of similar model trailers had reported a cracked subframe. Upon inspection of his trailer, he also discovered that the frame on his trailer was also cracked. The dealer was notified of the failure and sent a service tech to repair the subframe. The contact also drove the trailer to the manufacturer where additional repairs were made to secure the subframe. Despite the repair, the contact noted that he was uncomfortable with the reliability of the trailer. The trailer had been repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

OUR LIPPERT (LCI) LEVEL UP FRONT LEVELING LEGS ARE LEAKING DOWN 1" EVERY TWO DAYS. THEY HAVE ALSO STARTED CREEPING DOWN AS WE TRAVEL DOWN THE ROAD (IN MOTION) WHICH IS A SAFETY HAZARD. THEY HAVE ALSO DROPPED ABOUT HALF WAY DOWN WHILE THE RV WAS STATIONARY AND HAD ONE OF US BEEN UNDER THE FRONT WE WOULD HAVE BEEN INJURED OR KILLED. THERE ARE MANY DRV OWNERS REPORTING THE SAME ISSUE WITH THEIR UNITS ON THE DRV FORUM. SEEMS LIPPERT (LCI) IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE BUT REFUSES TO MAKE REPAIRS.*DT*JB

WHILE DRIVING OUR DRV MOBILE SUITES 5TH WHEEL TRAILER HOME FROM OCEAN CITY MARYLAND WE NOTICED THAT THE FRONT HYDRAULIC LEVELERS WERE LEAKING DOWN. WE PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND USED THE CONTROL PAD TO RETRACT THEM BACK UP. WE PROCEEDED DOWN THE ROAD AND AT LEAST 7 OR 8 TIMES DURING OUR 2 HOUR ROAD TRIP WE HAD TO STOP AND RETRACT THE FRONT HYDRAULIC LEVELERS. ON THE LAST THREE TIMES ONE OF THE LEVELERS WAS ALL THE WAY DOWN TOUCHING THE ROAD REALLY SCARING US TO THE POINT WHERE WE CALLED OUR DRV DEALER AND SEE IF IT WAS SAFE TO DRIVE. WE DID RETRACT THE LEVELERS ON THE LAST TIME AND THEY SEEMED TO STAY UP UNTIL WE GOT HOME. I HAVE CHECK SEVERAL DRV USER WEB SITES AND THIS SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM A LOT OF OWNERS ARE HAVING. I CONTACTED LIPPERT THE MANUFACTURER OF THE HYDRAULIC LEVELERS AND THEY WOULD NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE FIXED OTHERS THAT HAVE BEEN OUT OF WARRANTY, OUR VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT OUR DRV DEALER IN KNOXVILLE, TN *BF*AS*JB*DT*JB

Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
