The defect: EZ Loader Adjustable Boat Trailers, Inc. (EZ Loader) is recalling certain model year 2013 -2014 boat trailers, equipped with Carlisle Transportation Products-brand 15X6" and 16X6" CrossTrax Series trailer wheels. The lips of the affected wheels are susceptible to cracking and separation.
The risk: If a separation occurs, the trailer tire may rapidly lose air pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: The manufacturer has not provided a remedy plan. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact EZ Loader at 1-509-489-0181.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 EZ LOADER BOAT TRAILER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V626000 (SUSPENSION); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE.
