POWER WINDOWS AND ALL BUTTONS IN THE FERRARI BECOMES STICKY AND ALL CONTROLS BECOME STUCK IN PLACE. MAKING IT DANGEROUS TO OPERATE THE VEHICLE. THIS ONLY HAPPENS IN THE SUMMERTIME WHEN TEMPERATURE MELTS THE TOP LAYER OF THE FILM OR PLASTICS OF THE BOTTONS. THIS IS A WELL KNOWN AND DOCOMENTED ISSUE AMONG FERRARI ONLINE CHATS. THIS HAPPENS ANYTIME THE OUTSIDE TEMP IS OVER 90 DEGREES. WHEN DRIVING MORE THAN HALF OF ALL BUTTONS INCLUDING HAZARD HOW CAN I SETTING AND TURN SIGNALS DO NOT WORK

THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD HAS CRACKED, FERRARI IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE DEFECT THAT CAN CAUSE CAT INDUCTION, THEN ENGINE FAILURE (AND SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN). FERRARI IS NOT WILLING TO REPLACE THE MANIFOLDS. THE MANIFOLDS WERE NOT FIT FOR SERVICE AND FAIL THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY. FERRARI SHOULD REPLACE OR RECALL ALL 430 CARS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN CHANGED TO SECOND GENERATION MANIFOLDS REGARDLESS OF WARRANTY STATUS. 2005 TO 2009 ANYTHING THAT COULD RESULT IN ENGINE FAILURE OR RENDER THE CAR INOPERABLE DURING OPERATION, AND IS A KNOWN DEFECTS, SHOULD BE FIXED BY FERRARI. *TR

REF VIN# [XXX], YOU WILL NOT FIND IT IN THE U.S DATABASE (THAT 8TH CHARACTER "L" STANDS FOR LATIN AMERICA). GOOD DAY NHTSA, I BELIEVE FERRARI OF ITALY HAS MESSED UP AGAIN ON THEIR VIN# AND TITLE NAMING CONVENTIONS. I JUST STARTED DEPORTATION MY 2007 FERRARI F430 BACK TO EUROPE, SEEMS THE ?AMERICAN? SPECIFICATION CAR THEY TITLED AND SOLD ME IN OCT 2013 IS ACTUALLY A ?LATIN AMERICAN? SPECIFICATION CAR. I JUST RETIRED AFTER 23 YEARS FROM THE U.S. ARMY, I HAVE MULTIPLE COMBAT TOURS AND I JUST GOT RIPPED OFF FOR $167,000. BY AN AUTHORIZED FERRARI DEALERSHIP IN GERMANY (MY LAST DUTY STATION WHERE THE PURCHASE WAS MADE, THIS WAS MY RETIREMENT GIFT). IN FEB 2014, WHEN THE CAR ARRIVED AT THE U.S. ENTRY PORT IN GA, THE U.S CUSTOMS OFFICIALS NOTICED THE VIN# DID NOT MATCH THE TITLE OR THE BUILD OUT OF THE CAR. THE CAR WAS CONFISCATED AND AS IT IS NOT ABLE TO BE MODIFIED TO MEET U.S. DOT STANDARDS, IT CAN?T STAY IN THE USA. NOW THE DEALER IS STONEWALLING ME AND WILL NOT TALK TO ME ABOUT TAKING THE CAR BACK AND PAYING THE ASSOCIATED FINES AND PENALTIES. THE DEALERSHIP WILL NOT TAKE CALLS/E-MAIL/OR VISITS FROM AMERICAN SOLDIERS I HAVE SENT THERE. THIS AUTHORIZED FERRARI DEALERSHIP IN MUNCHEN, GERMANY HAS 100% OF MY MONEY, THEIR POSITION IS- YOU HAVE THE CAR, WE HAVE YOUR MONEY, YOU'RE OUT OF THE COUNTRY OF GERMANY SO YOU CAN?T PROSECUTE US FOR THE FRAUDULENT SALE WE PERPETRATED ON YOU?..TOO BAD AMERICAN SOLDIER. WHO CAN I TALK TO ABOUT THIS ? I HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTATION FROM 2007 SHOWING THE GAME FERRARI AND THE GERMAN DEALERSHIP PLAYED. READING THE WEB PAGES ON U.S. DOT ACTIONS AGAINST FERRARI, I SEE THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. MAYBE ONE PHONE CALL FROM YOUR OFFICE TO FERRARI HQ IN ITALY TO ASK THEM TO TAKE BACK THE CAR AND MAKE THIS RIGHT IS ALL I NEED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. LOSING $167,000., HAVING IT STOLEN BY A SHADY DEALERSHIP IS VERY BAD. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6). *TR

Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
