TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FLEETWOOD TERRY TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE IS A METAL FRAME UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE WITH BRACKETS SUPPORTING THE WATER TANK. WHILE CLOSELY INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, SHE NOTICED THAT THE BRACKETS HAD INADEQUATE WELDING AND SUPPORT, WHICH CAUSED THE BOLTS TO DETACH. ALSO, THE PLASTIC MATERIAL THAT THE TANK IS MANUFACTURED FROM HAS A DEFORMED, SAGGY SHAPE. THE WATER TANK, WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY 30 GALLONS, COULD FALL AND CAUSED A CRASH OR SERIOUS INJURY. SHE IS IN THE PROCESS OF NOTIFYING THE MANUFACTURER. THE CONTACT ALSO HAS PICTURES OF THE FAILED COMPONENT. THE MILEAGES WERE UNKNOWN.

DT: THE CONTACT STATED AFTER A HURRICANE THIS SUMMER THERE WAS WATER ON THE FLOOR OF THE TRAILER. THE WHEEL WELLS WERE NOT SEALED PROPERLY, ALLOWING WATER TO LEAK INTO THE TRAILER. AS A RESULT, THE FLOOR DETERIORATED. THE CONTACT SEALED THE FLOOR HIMSELF. HOWEVER, HE FELT IT WAS UNSAFE TO WALK ON IT. HE CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER, BUT THEY MAINTAINED UNLESS THERE WAS A RECALL NO REPAIRS WOULD BE MADE. *AK
