What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2002 Fleetwood Terry, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 FLEETWOOD TERRY TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE IS A METAL FRAME UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE WITH BRACKETS SUPPORTING THE WATER TANK. WHILE CLOSELY INSPECTING THE VEHICLE, SHE NOTICED THAT THE BRACKETS HAD INADEQUATE WELDING AND SUPPORT, WHICH CAUSED THE BOLTS TO DETACH. ALSO, THE PLASTIC MATERIAL THAT THE TANK IS MANUFACTURED FROM HAS A DEFORMED, SAGGY SHAPE. THE WATER TANK, WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY 30 GALLONS, COULD FALL AND CAUSED A CRASH OR SERIOUS INJURY. SHE IS IN THE PROCESS OF NOTIFYING THE MANUFACTURER. THE CONTACT ALSO HAS PICTURES OF THE FAILED COMPONENT. THE MILEAGES WERE UNKNOWN.
