CONSUMER STATES THAT WHILE TO A COMPLETE STOP AT 1-5-10 MPH THE SEAT BEALTS CAME LOOSE AND THE CHILD IN THE SEAT WENT FOWARD AND RAN INTO DASH BOARD AND HAD MINOR INJURIES.
WHILE STOPPED AT A LIGHT, WE WERE REAR-ENDED BY A 1984 CHEVROLET VAN. BOTH PARTIES IN THE TRUCK WERE WEARING A SEATBELT AT TIME OF ACCIDENT. BOTH FRONT 50/50 BENCH SEAT BACKS, ONLY ALLOWED TO FUNCTION LIFTING FORWARD, COLLAPSED BACKWARDS. THIS CAUSED TWO PASSENGERS TO FALL BACKWARDS TO THE EXT. CAB PORTION OF THE TRUCK, WHERE NORMALLY OUR KIDS SIT. AT ONLY 6'0" TALL, MY HUSBAND'S HEAD WENT THROUGH THE BACK WINDSHIELD OF THE TRUCK CAUSING NECK AND BACK INJURIES.
DRIVER SIDE SHOULDER BELT DOES NOT RETRACT AFTER USAGE. THIS CAUSES THE BELT TO GET CAUGHT IN THE DOOR AFTER EXITING THE VEHICLE. DEALER HAS SEEN VEHICLE. *AK
CONSUMER COMPLAINS THAT SEAT BELT HARNESS IS TOO CLOSE TO HIS NECK.
VEHICLE WAS AT COMPLETE STOP, IMPACT 6:00 POSITION, FAILURE OF THE HEAD REST, WILL NOT ADJUST PROPERLY TO PROTECT YOU. TT
