10 day roundtrip from [XXX] to [XXX]. 5 incidents of catastrophic engine failure on interstates. Truck started to jerk, sputter, lost power at an alarming rate. No engine light until failure ocurred. Very dangerous with heavy holiday traffic. Lives were in danger, us and other vehicles around us. No one expects travel to go from 70 mph,to 50, 30, 15 in such a short period of time. Pulled over to "investigate" code failures we deemed as o2 sensors. Afterwards the truck started back up, no engine lights and drove as normal. Started using premium gasoline, hoping it would help. Started driving in right lane as much as possible but had a failure ocurr right in front of on ramp as well at interstate speeds. Had another family following us so they also witnessed and pulled over all incidents. Brought into Ford 7/18/24 upon return home. Paid $125 inspection fee, concern not present, come back if happens again. Makes no sense that codes not present to pull. 12/13/2024 engine light on, catalytic converter replaced. 06/19/25 truck had catastrophic failure returning from work on hwy. XXX on [XXX], just two miles from leaving home another failure with no warning lights in heavy Friday traffic in construction zone. Couldn't clear the traffic lane completely. Very scary. Waited for clearing and limped it to a nearby off ramp. Same jerking, loss of power. Vehicle towed to shop for 2 weeks, testing, fuel pump replaced. Picked up 07/07/25. Next day received recall notice 25S75 in the mail 7/08/25. Everything made sense. 1/24/26 - Battery failed inspection @ 40% during oil change. Replaced battery ourselves from Costco. 04/23/26- Warning light, P0420 pulled, shop recommended engine tune -up. Paid $175 inspection fee + $671.20 tune up. 5/29/26 engine light on, P0420 pulled, recommend catalytic convertor replaced but not under factory warranty anymore so wants us to pay $4000 bill. I just picked up my Ford F-250 (2022) from Allstar Ford in Prairieville, La. It will have been 3 weeks since I had my truck towed to this dealer! On Tuesday [XXX] my truck stalled in heavy traffic and was able to glide off [XXX] in Baton Rouge and same to a dead stop at the end intersection. I blocked traffic for 30 minutes until truck started and was able to get out of traffic! My Ford pass App text a message to me that my fuel pump module had failed. Dealer could not diagnose a failure and after 3 weeks I finally went and picked it up. They did offer to replace the fuel pump for $1700.00 as my 100,000 warranty could not be applied because dealer diagnostics could not recognize the fault??? Truck has 72,000 mile on it!! Fuel pumps failure causing the truck to loose power while in traffic. I have spent 8 thousand dollars in repairs and I am still all of a sudden low Fuel pressure pops up on the screen and it looses power. Has left me stranded 200 miles from my house. Ford has told me that they can't get it to happen for their tech and told me to drive it. Same thing happened again 200 miles away from my house. I feel like Ford knows what it does and doesn't want to correct the problem. These trucks are very expensive to buy and to operate with all the service that has to be done to keep it on the road. I have been driving Ford trucks for over 35 years and this has got to be the worst one ever also the most expensive.

I was driving at a highway speed of 65 mph when suddenly the check engine light came on and the speed quickly dropped to 25 mph. The alert that appeared on the truck computer was low fuel pump pressure. This put myself and my family at risk of a severe accident. While driving on freeway, engine started to miss/hesitate. No check engine light. Miss/hesitation started to get more frequency and started smelling gas. No check engine light. Took offramp and truck died at stop sign. Pushed truck to gas station. Once out of truck, the smell of gas was prominent. Checked under hood and saw nothing unusual. Looked under truck on driver side and saw gas dripping from the transmission to the bumper under the truck. Looked under passenger side and saw more gas. Walked around to driver side, opened the driver door (which turns the fuel pump on) and saw gas spraying from under the truck. Got under the truck and determined that the supply connector on front side of fuel tank was disconnected. I reconnected the connector, clipped it locked, checked for leaks and restarted engine. There have been no further problems. Determined that approximately 10 plus gallons of gas sprayed under the truck. Approximate milage at time of incident was 6500 miles, current mileage is 6900 miles. I have purchased and plan to replace the following Ford part numbers per the Ford workshop manual which contains the connector and downstream fuel line: PC3Z 9J280, LC3Z 9S278.

Engine started to tick and loss of power, had it hauled to ford dealership in Tulia tx to later find out that it had faulty rocker arms which is a known problem after calling around asking other dealerships if they have seen other pickups come in with the same issue! After digging further into the motor they found that the fuel system was going bad and also would have to be replaced which is also a well known issue after ford recalled 300,000 of these pickups with the same issue

The BJB fuse panel gets water in it .The vehicle produces multiple alarms and the throttle stops working . So when going down the road it goes to a idle and you can't get out of the way of other vehicle's . The ford dealership said the BJB Panels do get water in them but have not heard of them causing this problem. There was a list of alarm's from the fuse panel failure it all happened about the same time .

ENG Light is on and losing throttle. When it loses throttle wrench light comes on. While driving on the interstate, the truck loses power and reduces speed on its own. It is difficult to maneuver to the side of road. It has been towed several times and repaired by more than one Ford dealership. We requested a buy back when the truck was under a year old and Akins Ford Winder Ga. refused to buy it back. It currently has 37,000 miles and has been sitting at the Akins dealership for two weeks. This truck could potentially cause an accident because it decelerates quickly and because of its size it is difficult to steer out of Atlanta, GA traffic. I have warned Ford Relationship director that someone will be injured in this vehicle. I was informed that I should contact NTSB and the Attorney General State of Georgia.
