2020 Forest River Rockport

According to Ford Recall 25V793: "According to Ford’s records, the remedy software for Safety Recall 20S73 may not have been installed correctly during a prior dealership visit. Because the correct software may not have been installed on your vehicle, the underlying condition specified in Safety Recall 20S73 may still exist. On your vehicle, it may be possible that the engine cover insulation does not fully extend to the perimeter of the factory engine cover. This may result in elevated temperatures at certain areas of the engine cover surface in the passenger compartment on both driver and passenger sides. Direct and continuous contact with exposed skin at these locations may increase the risk of skin irritation and/or a minor burn.

According to Ford Recall 24S78/24V957: "On your vehicle, it may be possible for aged biodiesel deposits to form on internal high pressure fuel pump components. This may lead to failure of the pump and may result in loss of motive power while driving. A loss of motive power increases the risk of a crash."

According to FCA Recall 24V896: "The brake hydraulic control unit could fail. Over time, this could cause the antilock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC) system and/or traction control not to work. An antilock braking system, electronic stability control system and/or traction control system that doesn't work could increase the risk of a crash."

According to General Motors Recall 23V247: "These vehicles are equipped with an unused circuit that a final-stage manufacturer may elect to use to install an optional rear HVAC system. If the final-stage manufacturer leaves the circuit's connectors or cut wires unsealed, exposure to moisture or contamination may, over time, cause corrosion. This could result in high current draw through the circuit at the vehicles' lower left side B-pillar. Unintended release of excessive heat from the circuit may pose a risk of a vehicle fire and increase the risk of injury."

This is a Mercedes-Benz Recall that Forest River is passing through. Forest River is not conducting any campaign separately other than notifying our owners and dealers of the Mercedes-Benz Campaign 21V055. USA: 178 Vehicles MBAG has determined that on certain Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles, the software design of the communication module may fail to communicate the correct vehicle's location for the emergency call system ("eCall") in the event of a crash. Depending on the crash scenario, a temporary drop in the on-board electrical voltage system may occur. If this occurs, the wrong location may be transmitted during an eCall. As a result, the arrival of emergency responders could be delayed, which could increase the risk of injury.

The high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) on your vehicle may fail prematurely. A high pressure fuel pump failure may introduce internally failed component debris into the fuel system potentially causing fuel starvation. Vehicle occupants may notice a Malfunction Indicator Lamp illuminating, a fuel leak, abnormal engine noise, or a change in drive quality. Fuel starvation may result in an unexpected loss of motive power, which can increase the risk of a vehicle crash without prior warning The remedy for this condition is not currently available.
