GOOD YEAR MARATHON ST235/80R16LRE. ON 4 SEPTEMBER 2018 WHILE RETURNING FROM A LABOR DAY TRIP, LEFT REAR AXLE GOODYEAR MARATHON TIRE BLEW OUT. AT THE TIME WE WERE TRAVELLING EAST ON I-10. THE BLOWOUT HAPPENED AT MILE MARKER 327. HAPPENED AT APPROX. 11:15 AM. WEATHER WAS WARM WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS. PAVEMENT AT LOCATION WAS DRY. AFTER ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO PUT MY SPARE ON, CONTINUED ON I-10, APPROX. 4 MILES (MM 331) WHEN THE RIGHT SIDE REAR AXLE GOODYEAR MARATHON TIRE TREAD SEPARATED. SAME ROAD CONDITIONS. TIRES HAVE APPROX. 2000 MILES ON THEM. PURCHASE 5TH WHEEL JANUARY 2017. 7 TRIPS WITHIN STATE OF FLORIDA

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 (NA) FOREST RIVER SANIBEL CAMPER EQUIPPED WITH GOODYEAR MARATHON TIRES, SIZE: ST235/80/R16 (NA). WHILE PULLING INTO A PARKING AREA AT A LOW RATE OF SPEED, THE INNER TREAD SEPARATED ON THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE. THE TIRE WAS REPLACED BY THE CONTACT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE TIRE FAILURE. IN ADDITION, THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE BLEW OUT WHILE DRIVING HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO PULL THE CAMPER OVER AND REPLACE THE TIRE. THE VIN, VEHICLE, AND TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WERE NOT AVAILABLE.
