THE NEW 2020 FOREST RIVER XLR TOYHAULER WE PURCHASED 16K+ GVWR, WAS SUPPLIED WITH 2017 DOT CODED F RATED TIRES. OBVIOUSLY THIS TRAILER SHOULD HAVE COME WITH "G" RATED TIRES FROM THE FACTORY, BUT THAT IS MOOT FOR THIS COMPLAINT. THE F RATED STERLING SPORT ST TIRES SUPPLIED ON OUR 20 XLR WERE, AS MENTIONED ABOVE, DATED 4017, MEANING 40TH WEEK OF 2017 PRODUCTION. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TO SHIP "NEW" TIRES OUT THAT ARE 3 YEARS OLD. THIS WAS NOT AN OLD STOCK TRAILER SITTING ON A LOT, IT WAS PURCHASED JUNE 26, 2020 (THE COVID SUMMER). BEFORE PURCHASING, I CONTACTED FOREST RIVER DIRECTLY TO REQUEST CURRENT DOT CODE TIRES ON THE TRAILER, AS I'M VERY FICKLE ABOUT TIRE WEAR/PRESSURE/AGE. AT THAT TIME THE SALESMAN FOR MY REGION NOTIFIED MY OF THE 1 YEAR UNLIMITED MILEAGE WARRANTY WOULD COVER ME FOR ANY AND ALL CONCERNS RELATED TO THE TIRE/WHEEL COMBO. I WAS NAIVE ENOUGH TO TAKE THAT AT FACE VALUE AND PURCHASE. SIX MONTHS AND 6 DAYS LATER 1/1/2021, JUST 100 MILES AWAY FROM ORLANDO, FL ON INTERSTATE 75 I HAD A TIRE DELAMINATION ON THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE AXLE. NOT ONLY DID THIS TIRE BLOW OUT, BUT IT DAMAGED THE SIDE WALL OF THE SECOND TIRE, MEANING I WAS TWO TIRES DOWN, WITH ONE SPARE. AFTER HUNTING DOWN A TIRE PLACE ~50 MILES AWAY WITH A CORRECT SIZE TIRE I WAS ABLE TO LIMP HOME. UPON REACHING OUT TO FOREST RIVER ABOUT THE DAMAGE TO MY CAMPER, INCLUDING A FRAME OUTRIGGER BEING RIPPED FROM THE BODY AND MANGLED, I WAS TOLD THAT ONLY THE TIRE WOULD BE REPLACED AND I WOULD HAVE TO FILE THE REPAIR AS A CLAIM ON MY INSURANCE. ALONG WITH THAT, THE STERLING SPOT ST TIRES WERE NO LONGER BEING PRODUCED AND HAD BEEN REPLACED WITH A DIFFERENT BRAND AND TREAD FROM THE LIONSHEAD BRAND. I EXPECT THIS COMPLAINT WILL DO ME NO GOOD IN CORRECTING MY CAMPER, BUT THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE AND THEIR FAULTY TIRES NEED TO BE TAKEN OFF THE ROAD, WITH CUSTOMERS RIGHTLY COMPENSTATED.

Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
STRUCTURE
The slideroom roof header is split into two pieces whereas it should be a single solid piece across the entire length of the slideroom roof. This may allow water to intrude into the vehicle.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
