They replaced a module. The night I picked up my vehicle from the Dodge dealership in Bessemer, Alabama, after the Door Control Module was replaced, the ABS and traction control lights activated. I called the shop the next morning, and they instructed me to continue driving they should go off. The lights went off briefly, but soon returned, prompting me to contact Fiat Chrysler corporate. When corporate directed me back to the dealership, the shop stated they could not see the vehicle for a significant period. I attempted to take the truck to other repair facilities, but they refused to work on it, stating they would not touch another shop's unresolved electrical issues. Operating a commercial vehicle while the transmission and braking systems receive invalid signals—especially after being told to keep driving and being unable to find a shop willing to fix the dealership's error—presents a severe safety risk. The truck is sending "invalid data" to the transmission, confirming a network communication failure that began exactly when the door module was installed. This conflict causes shorts in the ABS pumps and modules. Other Dodge dealerships will not touch the unresolved electrical problems. I demand that Fiat Chrysler resolve these recurring electrical failures i am spending alot of money repairing something that start after they did work to it. Even after i reported it to them. They have several tickets created for this issue. There was a recall for this same issue on other Ram trucks why it stopped with these i dont know. There are plenty Ram trucks that's dealing with this Abs issue. I have a 2018 Ram 3500 that has the recall but the fix is not available yet. This could be very dangerous.

Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
