1996 Georgie Boy Cruise Air Owner Complaints

Data refreshed

Complaints on fileComplaints are reports submitted to NHTSA by owners and drivers. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a complaint does not establish that a defect exists. Volume is influenced by how many of a vehicle were sold, how long it has been on the road, and how much attention an issue has received.

FORD ISSUED A SAFETY RECALL IN OCTOBER OF 2007 NUMBER 05S28 AS REQUIRED BY THE NHTSA. TO THIS DATE THEY HAVE NOT PROVIDED SUFFICIENT REPAIR PARTS TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. THEY CAUTION THAT YOU SHOULD NOT PARK THE VEHICLE NEAR HOME OR OTHER STRUCTURES. THEIR RECOMMENDATION IS TO HAVE THE DEFICIENT PART DISCONNECTED UNTIL PARTS ARE AVAILABLE. IS THIS ACTIVITY CONSISTENT WITH NHTSA GOALS ON SAFETY RECALLS? THEIR FIX SEEMS TO BE THAT CONSUMER TO BE SAFE SHOULD NOT USE THE PRODUCT THEY HAVE PAID FOR. CAN NHTSA FORCE FORD TO COMPLY WITH THE INTENT AND SPIRIT OF SAFETY RECALLS? *TR
