What this page shows
Everything below is an owner-reported complaint submitted to NHTSA about the 2002 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager, grouped by the component NHTSA recorded on the report. These are not confirmed defects, and they are not recalls. NHTSA does not verify most reports before publishing them, and a category with more reports in it is not evidence that a part is defective.
Complaints are reports submitted by owners and drivers to NHTSA. They are not verified and do not establish that a defect exists.

THE CONTACT'S ENTIRE BRAKING SYSTEM WAS DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF THE FAILURE HOWEVER, THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD ONLY MAKE REPAIRS TO THE BRAKE PADS, ROTORS AND THE REAR AXLE SEAL. IN ADDITION, THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE REAMING FAILURES OF THE BRAKING SYSTEM WOULD BE REPAIRED AT THE CONTACT'S EXPENSE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND CONFIRMED THAT WAS ADVISED THAT HE WOULD HAVE COVER THE COST OF REPAIRS ALTHOUGH THE RECALL STATED OTHERWISE. THE DEALER CONTINUED TO INFORM THE CONTACT THAT HE WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS THAT WERE INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 23,000. UPDATED 6/15/12 *CN
