The defect: VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: TRAILERS. THE GENERATOR EXHAUST OPENING IS UNDER THE TRAILER INSTEAD OF BEING VENTED OUT THE SIDE OF THE TRAILER.
The risk: TRAILER OCCUPANTS COULD EXPERIENCE CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING WHICH COULD RESULT IN ILLNESS OR DEATH.
The remedy: DEALERS WILL VENT THE EXHAUST PIPE PROPERLY.

WHILE DRIVING A TIRE BLEW OUT ON THE TRAILOR, THE TREAD CAME OFF THE TIRE DAMAGING THE TRAILOR FENDER AND BREAKING THE BRAKE/STOP LIGHT ON THE TRAILER. NLM
