TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HEARTLAND SUNDANCE 5TH WHEEL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FURNACE AND AIR CONDITIONER FAILED TO OPERATE WHEN ACTIVATED DUE TO A SHORT CIRCUIT. THE SAME FAILURE OCCURRED EIGHT DIFFERENT TIMES AND THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED EACH TIME BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THERE WAS NO MILEAGE.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500, WHICH WAS HITCHED TO A 2011 HEARTLAND SUNDANCE FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, A DRIVER OF ANOTHER VEHICLE ALERTED THE CONTACT THAT SMOKE WAS ERUPTING FROM THE BRAKES. THE CONTACT MANEUVERED THE VEHICLE TO THE SHOULDER AND NOTICED THAT THE BREAK AWAY SWITCH INADVERTENTLY ACTIVATED AND THE BRAKES FAILED TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, WHO STATED THAT THE BRAKE SHOES, BRAKE MAGNETS AND WIRING WERE BURNT. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4,500. UPDATED 12/28/11*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE R BOUNCES EXCESSIVELY. UPDATED 02/06/12
