The contact stated that while his driver was driving 45 MPH, the vehicle went into LIMP Mode and failed to exceed 5 MPH while driving with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road and turned off. The vehicle was restarted, but the failure persisted, and the vehicle was turned. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the after-treatment system had failed and was the cause of the failure.
