EGR COOLER REPLACED AT 27915 MILES, 6/1/15. EGR AGAIN REPLACED 6/12/18 UNDER WARRANTY. DPF APART INSPECTED BLEW OUT. 10/15/18. EGR VALVE STUCK, REPLACED NO WARRANTY. 8/16/19. DPF FAULT. INJECTORS PLUGGED. DPF HAD BEEN INSTALLED WRONG ALLOWING I CORRECT ORIENTATION OF THE DPF DIFFERENTIAL. DPF DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR WAS REPLACED. BROKEN CLAMP REPLACED ON INTAKE OF THE ENGINE. AFTER SOME WORK, FOUND MANIFOLD SENSOR PLUGGED NEW MAP SENSOR INSTALLED. FURTHER PROBLEMS 8/20/19 STILL LOW POWER. 8/22/19 REP CONTACTED AT IH THEY RESET MA F. UNIT ASKED FOR REGINE. STILL LOW POWER. 8/23/19. IH REP SAID CHECK EXHAUST RESTRICTIONS.DOC HALF PLUGGED ADVISED TO REMOVE AND BLOW OUT, EXHAUST TEMPS ROSE. UNIT SMOKED WHEN ACCELERATING. BECAUSE OF SMOKING LOOKED AT DOC IT WAS CRACKED REPLACED. THREE DIFFERENT PLACES WORKED ON MY COACH:. 1ST AT RWC GROUP IN SPOKANE, WASHINGTON 6/18/12/18. SUMMIT TRUCK GROUP 10/15/18. FAILURE OF RV MOTOR HOME ENGINE/TURBO EXHAUST BRAKING SYSTEM... (1) MANUFACTURER DID NOT INSTALL A DASH LIGHT TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE BRAKE IS ACTIVE. THE DRIVER HAS TO GUESS WHETHER THE BRAKE IS ON OR OFF! (2) SUBJECT BRAKE CEASES TO FUNCTION AT ALL WITHOUT ANY WARNING TO THE DRIVER (A RECURRING ELECTRICAL ISSUE) -- IF THIS OCCURS ON A MOUNTAIN GRADE IT CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO OCCUPANTS OF THE MOTOR HOME! (3) IF AND WHEN THE ENGINE/EXHAUST BRAKE IS FUNCTIONING IT IS INEFFECTIVE IN ALLOWING THE DRIVER TO MAINTAIN SAFE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE WHEN ON MOUNTAIN GRADES. VEHICLE WILL ATTAIN SPEED OF 75 MPH OR GREATER EVEN WHILE THE DRIVER IS APPLYING (AND BURNING UP) THE VEHICLE AIR BRAKES. THIS SITUATION CAN AND WILL EVENTUALLY RESULT IN A TOTAL LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND SUBSEQUENT SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH TO THE VEHICLE OCCUPANTS. I HAVE INFORMED NAVISTAR RV, THE MANUFACTURER OF HOLIDAY RAMBLER MOTOR HOMES, AND THREE INTERNATIONAL TRUCK (AFFILIATED WITH NAVISTAR LLC) REPAIR FACILITIES AND ALL HAVE STATED THAT THE ENGINE/EXHAUST BRAKE IS FUNCTIONING AS INTENDED. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT ALL NAVISTAR AND INTERNATIONAL TRUCK REPRESENTATIVES CONTACTED HAVE REFUSED MY INVITATION TO DRIVE OUR MOTOR HOME DOWN A MOUNTAIN GRADE! INCIDENTALLY, THIS IS OUR FIFTH MOTOR HOME SO I AM QUITE KNOWLEDGEABLE ON THE SUBJECT OF ENGINE/EXHAUST BRAKING SYSTEM CAPABILITY! BOTTOM LINE IS THAT NAVISTAR RV AND ITS AFFILIATED COMPANIES HAVE ENGINEERED A ENGINE/EXHAUST BRAKING SYSTEM THAT IS INCAPABLE OF CONTROLLING A 42 FOOT 40,000 LB MOTOR HOME AND ACCOMPANYING 6,000 LB TOW VEHICLE WHEN TRAVELING ON MOUNTAIN GRADES, PARTICULARLY THOSE GRADES OF 6-7% OR GREATER AND 3-4 MILES IN LENGTH THAT ARE QUITE COMMON IN THE WESTERN STATES . HOPEFULLY YOU WILL TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION TO QUICKLY AND THOROUGHLY INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER. UPDATED 05/01/13*LJ *TR THE CONSUMER ALSO STATED THE CRUISE CONTROL, AND ENGINE BRAKE WERE INOPERATIVE. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
This tool is designed to compare Diamond Logic feature data across multiple vehicle configuration files. It allows users to quickly load files either manually or directly from the Diamond Logic Builder Vehicles folder using VIN-based selection. As files are added or removed, the comparison runs automatically with no manual action required. The program presents results in an interactive table that shows feature codes, descriptions, access levels, and whether each feature is present in each selected file. Built-in search, filtering, and sorting make it easy to locate specific features or focus only on differences between files. Column visibility can be customized to show or hide descriptions and access information as needed. Users can remove files individually or clear all files at once, with results updating instantly. The tool also includes reporting and export options that reflect exactly what is visible on screen, allowing results to be printed, copied, saved as text, or exported to CSV for use in Excel or other spreadsheet tools. Overall, the program streamlines the process of comparing vehicle feature configurations, helping users quickly identify differences, validate setups, and document results without manual comparison or external tools.

In some geographic areas, ambient temperatures reaching below 15°F (-10 °C), including high levels of humidity, an operator may experience engine stalling, low performance, and or poor aftertreatment performance. This is caused by condensation accumulating and freezing within the Charge Air Cooler (CAC); affecting air flow into the engine. This article lists all the currently available winter front covers that can be installed on the front grille and bumper to reduce cold air flow to the engine compartment.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition.
