Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.
IMT has revised the taillight wiring configuration on MY25 and MY26 RAM chassis. Previous configurations utilized the trailer connection for body taillights.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
IMT is updating the location of the CMD.CTRL™ panel wiring plug for improved installation and serviceability.
IMT is committed to ensuring the reliable and consistent performance of our products for our customers. This is a reminder to conduct regular inspections as outlined in our Operator’s manual for your equipment
STRUCTURE:BODY
IMT has redesigned the front body mount brackets to facilitate easier installation and eliminate the need for shims.
PARKING BRAKE
Ford Motor Co. has made IMT aware of various wiring changes to 2023MY F-250 - F-600 Super Duty chassis models. These changes resulted in the required installation of a decoder module to replicate the E-Brake signal for standard system operation. The following part number will be added to price sheets for all orders selecting any 2023MY Ford Super Duty chassis models F-250 - F-600.
SUSPENSION
IMT has been recently made aware that GM Silverado 4500/5500/6500 and International CV series chassis equipped with IROS (International Ride-Optimized Suspension) air ride suspension are not compatible with IMT Dominator bodies if the chassis is equipped with a rear mounted fuel tank. The air ride suspension with rear mounted fuel tank configuration requires an after frame dimension that exceeds the allowable maximum for mounting of a Dominator body.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.
Compare model years
Complaint and recall counts across every year of this model
Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
