The defect: International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2023-2026 LT and RH vehicles. The auto neutral function may not recognize that the parking brake has been applied, failing to shift the transmission into neutral.
The risk: The transmission remaining in gear may allow the vehicle to move unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy: Dealers will replace the quick release valve on the rear axle, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 9, 2026. Owners will receive another notice once remedy becomes available. Owners may contact International's customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25524. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning January 12, 2026.

The defect: International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2023-2026 LT and 2024-2025 RH trucks. The Hill Start Assist (HSA) exhaust port may become clogged, delaying or preventing the release of the service brakes.
The risk: Brakes that are still engaged while driving increase the risk of crash.
The remedy: Dealers will relocate the HSA valve exhaust, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 15, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25522.

On [XXX], I was operating (bobtail) truck number [XXX] and needed to complete some tasks outside the truck. I set the parking brakes by pulling the yellow valve out. The truck didn’t make the usual loud noise we hear every time we set the brakes. After a couple of minutes of reviewing the documentation I was supposed to drop off at that location, I stepped out of the truck with the key in my pocket and walked away from it. When I was about 100 feet away from the truck, I saw it rolling down on my right side. I went to recover the truck, and the first thing I checked was the yellow valves. Both valves were pulled out. I put the key in the ignition and started the truck. I pressed the yellow valve in, but there was no noise, and the feeling was a bit different. I did press the red valve in and heard that air noise. I pulled back out again and reversed the truck back to where I originally parked it. I notified safety and also requested by text to my supervisor, Shania, that the valves should be checked before any other driver would drive it. So far I haven’t been told what caused the roll away. No one got hurt, no citation, but the area where this incident happened is the entrance and exit of every employee in that building. I was let go from work on July 21,2026. When driving down the road and if there are steel plates on the road the truck will alert and slam the brakes on.

Brakes applied by themselves and come to a complete ABS stop. Happened in traffic. When this happens you have no control. Will not accelerate. Has happened three times. Have to hit lane departure every 15 minutes while driving. Very distractive for driving. Truck has been reported for repair. Truck is leased
