AXLE SPINDLE WELD

CROSSROADS RV HAS FILED CAMPAIGN 06V-475 TO ADDRESS 161 (1) 2007 MODEL YEAR SUNSET TRAIL AND(2) 2007 MODEL YEAR ZINGER TRAILERS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN ASSEMBLED WITH DEFECTIVE AXLE - SPINDLE WELDS BEFORE THESE AXLES COULD BE INSPECTED BY THE AXLE SUPPLIER, LIPPERT COMPONENTS, FOR THE SUSPECT CONDITION.CROSSROADS RV HAS REPORTED NO ADDITIONAL FAILURES SINCE THE TWO INCIDENTS REPORTED IN MAY 2006 THAT LAUNCHED THIS INVESTIGATION.ODI WILL MONITOR CROSSROADS RV FOR THE NEXT SIX MONTHS (UNTIL MAY 2007) FOR ANY AXLE - SPINDLE WELD PERFORMANCE PROBLEMS AND WILL INITIATE FURTHER INVESTIGATION IF ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS ARE REPORTED.
