FUEL PUMP LEAK

CRACKS MAY DEVELOP IN THE FUEL HOSE CONNECTION (NIPPLE) ON THE OUTLET (PRESSURE) SIDE OF THE FUEL PUMP.THIS CONDITION CAN RESULT IN THE LEAKAGE OF GASOLINE FROM THE FUEL PUMP.AS A RESULT OF ADDITIONAL REPORTS AND OTHER INFORMATION PROVIDED BY SUBARU IN RESPONSE TO THE AGENCY'S INVESTIGATION, THIS INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO ENGINEERING ANALYSIS EA 09-007.
