Poor steel to aluminum welding. Fiberglass sides are cracking due to welds cracking per service advisers at RV dealerships. Jayco is aware and telling RV owners the repair is on the owners. The sides could separate and come off during transport and possibly cause damages or accidents of other vehicles. Jayco has changed engineering and procedures because of this safety issue and refuse to make corrections to bring units up to safer standards. Jayco has a repair kit but owners are to foot the bill for repairs. A repair will cost owners at a minimum of $10K starting. Its sad Jayco is more concerned with profits than public safety especially when they are aware of the issue.

I have 2 recalls on this travel trailer, both related to propane systems. Recalls #20E-071 and 21V-425. 20E-071 was dated November 12,2020 and 21V-425 was dated August 2021. The dealer: Little Dealer Little Prices - 2350 West Deer Valley Road- Phoenix, AZ 85027 has failed to perform either of the recalls. I was gone there repeatedly to check on the status and was always told they were waiting for parts. In April of 2022 when I went to the dealer again I was told they work orders had been cancelled. Again, I furnished them with all the information and they were going to find out what happened. When I contacted them again in May of 2022 I was told a different Service Writer was handling it now and when I sent them an email, I got no response. The recall 21V-425 I found out was for the propane pressure regulator which I already had to change at my expense.

WITH LESS THAN 4500 MILES THE REAR AXLE FAILED, CAUSING SEVERE WEAR ON THE TIRE. WHEN RESEARCHING, THERE APPEARS TO BE A LOT OF COMPLAINTS IN REGARDS TO AXLE FAILURE. DEXTER REPLACED THE AXLE, BUT JAYCO WOULD NOT COVER THE REPLACEMENT UNDER WARRANTY, AND ADVISED I TAKE IT TO THE NEAREST JAYCO DEALERSHIP (72 MILES AWAY) USING THE SPARE. DURING THAT SHORT DRIVE TO HAVE THE REPAIRS DONE, THE SPARE SHOWED SEVERE WEAR ALSO.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers.
