WHILE PARKED, OUR GRAY WATER TANK BECAME FULL, BUT BEFORE WE COULD GET A CHANCE TO EMPTY IT, THE ENTIRE TANK BROKE FREE FROM THE CAMPER AND FELL TO THE GROUND. THIS HAPPENED JUST HOURS AFTER COMPLETING A 5 HOUR DRIVE ACROSS STATE WITH THE CAMPER. HAD IT BROKEN FREE WHILE ON THE ROAD, IT COULD HAVE CAUSED A VERY SERIOUS ACCIDENT. UPON CONTACTING THEM, JAYCO REFUSED TO COVER ANY PORTION OF REPAIRS, DUE TO BEING OUT OF WARRANTY AND REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD THIS COULD HAVE BEEN, OR THAT THE TANK FALLING OFF SHOULD NOT HAPPEN UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES. INTERNET RESEARCH LED US TO ANOTHER OWNER OF THE SAME MAKE/MODEL/YEAR CAMPER WITH THE SAME ISSUE. HIS WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND THE SERVICE MANAGER REFUSED TO REATTACH THE SAME TANK, CITING A SAFETY ISSUE, AND GOT A NEW TANK APPROVED BY JAYCO BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL TANK (ACCORDING TO THE POST) " ISN'T HOLDING ITS PRE MOLDED FORM AND AS A RESULT DEFORMS AS IT FILLS UP. THIS DEFORMATION ALLOWS IT TO SLIP OUT OF THE L-BRACKETS THAT HOLD IT UP". Manufacturer communications
A bulletin sent by a manufacturer to its dealers. Not a recall, and repairs are not necessarily free.

JAYCO AND ENTEGRA COACH STORAGE TIPS. INSTRUCTIONS FOR STORING JAYCO AND ENTEGRA COACH DIESEL PUSHERS.
EQUIPMENT
Informational bulletin for repair that requires the removal of pullout cabinet extension drawers.
Manufacturers file copies of the bulletins they send to dealers with NHTSA. These often describe diagnostic or repair procedures for a known condition. They are not recalls: repairs described in a bulletin are usually only free if the vehicle is still under warranty or the manufacturer has extended coverage.

Higher-selling and older vehicles accumulate more reports. Counts are not failure rates and are not directly comparable between vehicles that sold in very different numbers. Older model years have had longer for reports to accumulate.
